The first camp of its kind, Camp Bravehearts brings “summer camp” to the kiddos at Methodist Children’s Hospital, University Hospital and CHOSA in San Antonio, Texas year round. Camp Bravehearts and Capes & Crowns have formed the perfect partnership to bring “Smiles Through Trials”!
Summer Camp, Wherever the Kids Are
Some kids can’t make it to summer camp — so Camp Bravehearts brings camp to them. Games, crafts, songs, and plenty of laughter arrive right at the hospital, giving kids in treatment a true camp experience without ever leaving their floor.
When Capes & Crowns joins in, the day gets even bigger: costumes come out, capes go on, and every camper gets to step into the story as the hero. For a few unforgettable hours, the hospital feels a lot more like an adventure.
Patient Intake Form
As we prepare for an upcoming visit to your hospital, Child Life Specialists can submit a form on each patient’s behalf indicating their top three costume choices, sizing information and location.
